My clinical pharmacist at work is having a baby boy! We had her shower yesterday
and I was so excited to make some cute decorations, favors, and a card.

For my project I used Scallop Circles, Mustache Dies, Card Mat Dies, Sweet Baby Stamp Set.

National Scrapbook Day!

Some info on National Scrapbooking Day:

Each year on the first Saturday in May, it is National Scrapbook Day. 

Also known as National Scrapbooking Day, on this day thousands of people get together all over the country to celebrate with scrapbooking parties and share their talents with others. 

Scrapbooking dates back to the 15th century.

As per Wikipedia: “Scrapbooking is a method for preserving personal and family history in the form of a scrapbook. Typical memorabilia include photographs, printed media, and artwork. Scrapbook albums are often decorated and frequently contain extensive journaling. Scrapbooking is a widely practiced pastime in the United States.”

Scrapbooking is a hobby of preserving memories and at the same time it provides a strong social network.

  ”Scrappers”, as they are called, get together and scrapbook at each others homes, local scrapbook stores, scrapbooking conventions, retreat centers and have even gone on cruises.  Together they share tips and ideas and enjoy the social outlet.

Scrapbookers are often referred to as "Paper Hoarders".

Quick and easy birthday cards!

Hello everyone and Happy Easter! Today we're also celebrating my brother and father's birthday. Thankfully Jaded Blossom made making a couple simple birthday cards easy! I used the Birthday dies, Card Mat dies, and Supersized Birthday Greetings. 

It was nice to be able to make two different cards using just those 3 items.

Whale of a Tale Banner

Hello, today's my last guest designer post over at SVG Cutting Files. Thank you to Ann and whole DT team. It's been so much fun and I feel so lucky to have had this opportunity.

I'm going to a sea themed baby shower at work tomorrow and just had to make a little something for the occasion!

I used the scalloped circle from Banner Shapes Simple and Whale of a Tale for the cute little whale.

SVG Cutting Files February Challenge - Spring Treat

Happy Sunday!

Time for a new challenge over at SVG Cutting Files!
February's theme is a Spring Treat, I was so excited about this challenge.
I love spring, the blooming flowers, the start of sunny days, and everything waking up from winter.

Now on to my treat.

I used the Poppy Flowers and Daffodil Days files from SVG Cutting Files to
dress up the new gable box from Jaded Blossom.
I also used from Jaded Blossom the grass from spring dies,
the sign from fall dies, and spring signs.

SVG Cutting Files Guest Designer - Owl Valentines

Hello, today I

am sharing a cute Owl Valentine treat.

I used a couple files from SVG Cutting Files for my treat. To hold the nuggets 

I used the Nugget Wallet Platform and for the cute polka dot owl I just loved

the owl from Owl on Coffee Mug. I just love the sentiments on 

Pugs and Kisses from Jaded Blossom. I thought the Owl sentiment was perfect 

for my treat and stamped on the tiny flag from 

Mini Tag Dies 2, it fits nicely.

Here's a close up of the chocolate nuggets inside. The are wrapped in 

Jaded Blossoms Candy Wrapped Dies.

Guest Designer for SVG Cutting Files!

Hey everyone, first off happy Super Bowl Sunday!! I feel so extremely lucky to get to be the guest designer for February and even more so that I get to post on my favorite day of the year! I might be a bit biased since my team the Seattle Seahawks are playing today. 

I'm sure you can guess my project is Seahawks themed! As soon as I saw the  Foam Finger Tube Holder, I knew exactly what my project would be. 

I had to make a 12th man treat! I added the 12, some white doodles, Trendy Twine in Totally Navy and Limeade. All paper is from PTI and the treat tube is from Jaded Blosdom. I of course filled it with blue and green skittles since it's the candy of BEASTMODE.
